Comedian Kathy Griffin and Attorney Lisa Bloom to Hold Press Conference

Kathy Griffin has hired high-powered attorney Lisa Bloom and will hold a press conference Friday to address the firestorm surrounding the viral image of herself holding the bloody, decapitated head of President Donald Trump and the “bullying” she claims she has endured at the hands of the Trump family as a result.
Griffin was fired from CNN this week, where she has hosted New Year’s Eve Live with network anchor Anderson Cooper since 2007

Kathy Griffin is holding a press conference on Friday to complain about the “bullying from the Trump family that she has endured” following the release of a photo spread showing the comedian holding up a bloodied head of President Trump.

Lisa Bloom, the daughter of famed feminist litigator Gloria Allred and Griffin’s newly hired lawyer, made the shocking announcement on Twitter.

Bloom says that she and Griffin will “announce the true motivation” behind the photo shoot.

Bloom posted the press release to her Twitter account, saying, “Proud to announce that I represent Kathy Griffin. We will be holding a press conference tomorrow morning. Here’s the details.”

Bloom, said “I lover her too” in response to a commenter on Twitter who said, “I happen to love kathygriffin. Witch hunts are exhausting. Brava, LisaBloom.”

A correctional facility, detention center, gaol (Australia, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, UK), jail (US, Canada), penitentiary, prison, or remand centre[a][b] is a facility in which inmates are forcibly confined and denied a variety of freedoms under the authority of the state as a form of punishment. Prisons are most commonly used within a criminal justice system: people charged with crimes may be imprisoned until they are brought to trial; those pleading or being found guilty of crimes at trial may be sentenced to a specified period of imprisonment. Besides their use for punishing civil crimes, jails and prisons are frequently used by authoritarian regimes.



The term prison or penitentiary is often used to describe institutions that incarcerate people for longer periods of time, such as many years, while jail is often used to describe institutions focused on confining people for shorter periods of time (e.g. for shorter sentences or while waiting for trial / sentencing). Prisons often have facilities that are more designed with long term confinement in mind in comparison to jails.



Prisons can be used as a tool of political repression to punish what are deemed political crimes, often without trial or other legal due process; this use is illegal under most forms of international law governing fair administration of justice. In times of war, prisoners of war or detainees may be detained in military prisons or prisoner of war camps, and large groups of civilians might be imprisoned in internment camps.

Hannity is ‘Bad Business’: Media Matters President Defends Boycott of Fox News Host

A boycott of Sean Hannity‘s program, spearheaded by liberal watchdog group Media Matters, was recently launched in response to the Fox News host’s promotion of a conspiracy theory about slain DNC staffer Seth Rich.

The liberal nonprofit published a list of advertisers for Hannity’s show, to pressure them into dropping from his program — a move Hannity called “liberal fascism.”

Angelo Carusone, president of Media Matters, joined Michael Smerconish on CNN Saturday to defend his calls to boycott Hannity’s program.

“I am trying to provide information about Sean Hannity to people that have to make business decisions about their relationship with Sean Hannity,” Carusone said.

Smerconish asked if the campaign amounts to censorship, which Carusone pushed back on: “I don’t think that it is censorship if a company doesn’t want to associate with or give money to a personality,” he said. “I’m not saying Sean Hannity shouldn’t be able to say the things he says, I’m just saying that businesses should have some intentionality behind their advertising.”

Media Matters has often used the tactic of pressuring advertisers to abandon programs the group deems problematic. Media Matters kickstarted the campaign to boycott Bill O’Reilly’s program in the wake of a number of sexual harassment allegations leveled against the Fox elder statesman.

The group can also be credited with ending Glenn Beck’s Fox News show in 2011, when it pressured advertisers after Beck called then-President Barack Obama racist.

Smerconish pointed out that Hannity’s advertisers are not fleeing to the same extent they fled O’Reilly’s program in March, which preceded his ouster from the network.

Carusone responded that the goal of Media Matters is simply to inform advertisers of “the depth of volatility or riskiness associated with Sean Hannity’s programming.”

He also noted that some advertisers are indeed uninformed about their own advertising on Hannity’s program: “one company, Crowne Plaza, were so upset that their ads were running in the first place, that they fired their media buyer,” Carusone said.

He concluded that the fact that “Sean Hannity is volatile and bad business” should ultimately drive the decisions of advertisers.

There is nothing to secure some dumb ass open back lines between Kushner and the freaking Russians aka. Moscow. The bottom line is that no one in the Trump team give a rats ass about 'optics' which is why I wish everybody would just shut the hell up! All of this stuff really is very, very unusual; just saying. The Russians did mess with our freaking election and there is no doubt about that now.

Hillary is just as guilty as bashing in Trump as he was of bashing in her. The only thing of the matter is that because Trump had extra and extensive help behind the scenes that is why he just so happened to win in a landslide. Otherwise, if you look at the many plans that Hillary had laid out and they were especially in patching and reforming Obamacare from day one which she had posted up there with her health records since she had to provide them because she had fainted while standing in remembrance of what 9/11 did to our country. She didn't say she had the flu but would you if you were running up against some guy such as Trump who criticizes every damn thing that you do and even before you even get to do it? Not one time has Trump EVER had to prove himself. They made a fool of her and they ended up putting a bigger fool into the oval office.
